HENNY BOTTLES AND A PEAK TOP

Henny bottles are the shape iDab is known for: a bottle silhouette in borosilicate with a geometric panel in the body, a quote on the back and a long neck cut for a hand grip. The other active piece is unrelated, a replacement glass top for a Puffco Peak.

Joint size forks the bottles. The small pieces take a 10mm bowl or banger and stand 5 inches. The medium takes 14mm and stands 7. Worked versions add hand pulled color down the neck and stem, and about fifty dollars to the ticket.

  • Small bottle 5 inches, 10mm joint, clear body with a geometric panel, $50.
  • Small worked bottle same footprint with color work along the neck and stem, five colorways, $100.
  • Medium worked bottle 7 inches on a 14mm joint, so it takes a banger as readily as a flower bowl, five colorways at $115.
  • Peak glass attachment a 6 inch borosilicate top with a two hole dome percolator, seven colors, $100, base not included.

The Peak attachment is the quiet earner. Anyone who cracks the stock glass on a Peak needs a replacement that day and has no substitute purchase, so a shop holding two colors behind the counter closes a hundred dollar sale that otherwise goes online. Keep the bottles on the shelf and the attachment where staff can reach it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Henny bottle water pipes: what joint sizes do they take?

The small bottles run a 10mm joint and the medium runs 14mm. A 10mm piece takes a small flower bowl or a small banger; the 14mm medium takes whatever a shop already stocks for standard glass, which makes it the easier one to attach a bowl sale to.

How tall are the iDab bottles?

Five inches for the small pieces and seven inches for the medium. Both are hand held sizes rather than table pieces, which is why the necks are drawn long and the bodies are cut wide enough to grip.

What does worked glass mean on these pieces?

Color applied by hand into the glass rather than printed on it, run along the neck and stem in patterns that differ piece to piece. It is why the worked small bottle is $100 and the plain one is $50 on the same footprint.

Does the Puffco Peak attachment include the base?

No. It is the glass top only, 6 inches tall with a two hole dome percolator, sold as a replacement or an upgrade for a Peak a customer already owns. Seven colors are available, including light blue and pink.

How much does iDab cost at wholesale?

$50 for the plain small bottle, $100 for the small worked bottle, $115 for the medium worked bottle and $100 for the Peak glass attachment. That is a mid ticket glass range, above import stock and under heady work.

Can a 10mm bottle take a banger?

Yes. The small worked bottle is listed for 10mm flower bowls or bangers, so a customer running concentrate on a small piece is covered. The medium at 14mm gives more room and takes the sizes most shops keep in stock.

What colors do the worked bottles come in?

Five, and the runs differ by size. The medium comes in black and white, rainbow, red, teal, and yellow and white. The small worked bottle covers a similar spread including rainbow, red and teal.

How many colorways does the Peak attachment come in?

Seven. Light blue and pink are two of them. Color range matters more on a replacement part than on a whole device, because the customer is already committed to the purchase and is choosing only how it looks.

Which iDab piece reorders fastest?

The Peak glass attachment, because breakage creates the demand rather than desire does. Bottles turn on look, so they move in waves tied to which colorway is on the shelf.

Where should a shop display bottle shaped glass?

Front shelf, upright, with the geometric panel facing out. These are recognized by silhouette before anything else, and a bottle laid flat in a case reads as clearance no matter what it costs.
