ATOMIZERS OUTSELL THE RIGS

Focus V builds three concentrate devices and a long tail of parts that keep them running. The Carta 2 is the full size e-rig that ships in a backpack of accessories. The Carta Sport is the portable, battery heavy version of the same idea. The Aeris is the pen sized one.

Atomizer choice is what actually separates them. The standard Intelli-Core is a quartz coated ceramic bucket with radial side wall heating. The Max version runs 30 percent larger walls and dual heat sensors. A dry herb atomizer drops into the same Carta 2 socket. One device, three jobs.

  • Carta 2 225 dollars, a 2000mAh cell, OLED screen, Bluetooth app and wireless charging, in seven finishes.
  • Carta Sport 160 dollars, a 2700mAh cell, five presets from 480F to 565F and a water resistant shoulder case, in four colors.
  • Aeris 155 dollars, an 800mAh cell in a stainless body under a silicone shell, with five temperatures stored through the app.
  • Saber hot knife 25 dollars in seven finishes, three power levels, a loading light and a twist off tip.
  • Wear parts Saber tips at 4.50 single or 10 dollars for three, Aeris mouthpieces at 23, bubble caps at 10, atomizers from 25 to 70.

The rigs are the display sale. The tips and atomizers are the repeat one. A Saber tip three pack costs ten dollars and gets used up. An Intelli-Core is a 35 to 70 dollar part on a device that already left the store. Order devices to the shelf and wear parts to the drawer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Focus V hot knife tips: how many come in a pack?

Two ways. A single Saber replacement tip is 4.50 and a three pack is 10 dollars, which is the one worth stocking deep. The tip twists off, so a customer swaps it without tools and without buying a second hot knife.

Which atomizer fits more than one device?

The Intelli-Core and the Intelli-Core Max both fit the Carta 2 and the Aeris. The Max runs 30 percent larger chamber walls and lands at 70 dollars against 35 for the standard version. The dry herb atomizer is Carta 2 only.

How long does the portable run between charges?

The Carta Sport carries a 2700mAh cell and is rated at 50 dabs a charge. The Carta 2 runs 2000mAh on a wireless dock. The Aeris uses an 800mAh cell but takes a swappable battery, sold separately at 45 dollars, which is the fix for a heavy day.

What temperatures do these run?

The Carta Sport ships five presets at 480F, 495F, 515F, 535F and 565F, all adjustable through the app. The Carta 2 splits by material instead: 275F to 500F for herb and 365F to 635F for concentrate.

Is there a bundle worth writing on a first order?

The Carta 2 and Saber Hot Knife deluxe kit is 260 dollars and puts a rig and a loading tool in one box, in six finishes. It gives a shop a single price point to point at instead of talking a customer through two purchases.

What does a shop reorder first?

Saber tips and Intelli-Core atomizers. Both are consumables on devices already sold, both are small enough to live in a drawer rather than on a shelf, and neither asks the customer to make a decision at the counter.

Does anything here handle dry herb?

One part does. The Carta 2 Intelli-Core dry herb atomizer is 25 dollars and turns the same rig into a flower device with a large ceramic chamber. Nothing else in the line takes herb.

How many colors does the hot knife come in?

Seven at wholesale: black, forest green, grape, midnight blue, mint, bordeaux and clear. All at 25 dollars, so one order fills a peg strip with a full color spread and no price differences to explain at the register.

What glass does the e-rig use?

The Carta 2 glass attachment is a five inch borosilicate top with a three hole percolator, 25 dollars. It is the part that gets knocked off a table, so it belongs in stock anywhere the rig itself is sold.

How does charging work across the line?

The Carta 2 uses a wireless dock with a 10000mAh power bank built in at 45 dollars, and it charges any Qi device. The Aeris has its own push fit dock at 27 dollars with a USB-C cable. The Saber charges over USB-C directly.
